Discover the musical talents of Lois Hicks, a multi-talented artist working with dRonyMusicGroup™. Lois is a singer, songwriter, actress, and novelist. A talented and diverse Southern soul performer, she was born in Deatsville, Alabama (near Montgomery). Lois became well-known to the stage at a very early age. Her earliest performances were school plays and church programs, and at the tender age of 8, she began to sing live on radio each week. As Lois matured in the singing arena, she became interested in a wide spectrum of musical genres that have continued to influence her career to this day. Her greatest influences include R & B, jazz, and the blues. Combined with a prominent gospel background, these influences laid the foundation for the Southern soul singer she is today.
