A native of Tuskegee, Alabama (home of the mighty Commodores), Clarence is bringing the ultimate bottom line to the group with his Bass. He is a very versatile and well rehearsed musician. Clarence also provides smooth background vocals which greatly enhances the overall sound of the group.
Clarence's styles are many. Whether it is Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Soul, or any of the many other categories, Clarence can handle it. So don't let his cool, calm disposition fool you. Clarence Ervin brings a pocket full of funk to the stage each time he each time he goes there. You never know when he might reach into his pocket get some, and spread it all over the stage. That's right, he is capable of starting a contagious funk-along jam session at any given time. The only rule is... Don't Stop Til You Git-a-nuff.
