Clemon Byrd is definitely not a stranger to Soul, Jazz, and R&B Music. The way he takes care of business with the saxophone and vocals is very impressive to say the least. Clemon's abilities, influences and preferences are so flexible it would be difficult (and unfair to him) to brand him with a particular category and try to make it stick. He is a tremendous asset to Tight Rhythms. Clemon has a very good instinct for identifying the needs of an audience, and then working it to their satisfaction. Whether it is strategically planning the order of a song list, or walking through the room and visiting customers while playing a solo on his saxophone, he gets the job done and leaves everyone satisfied.
Clemon Byrd and Bernard Rutledge co-founded The Satin Soul Band (Auburn, Alabama) in 2007. Playing a wide spectrum of Jazz and R&B music, The Satin Soul Band is available for parties, wedding receptions, formals, and a host of other musical events.
