Keyboards... hosting a multitude of hidden talents
Jerome Tinsley's primary job with Tight Rhythms is to play keyboards; however, he also does a fine job helping out with vocals and playing guitar when needed. Jerome's musical preferences have many influences that include Rock, Soul, R&B, and Gospel. His vocal preferences tend to lean toward artists such as David Ruffin, Bobby Womack, and Lionel Richie.
Like many other Southern Soul Musicians, Jerome got off to a good start playing with a Gospel Quartet (first The Gospel airs of Opelika, Alabama and later with William Phillips and The Faithful Few). Prior to that Jerome worked with a variety of Soul and Rock groups in El Passo, Texas. He is well equipped with plenty of experience.
