Steve Jackson is the founder, manager, and drummer of Tight Rhythms. He formed the group because there was a need for live entertainment at the establishment where he is the entertainment manager, the Wok n Roll restaurant. Steve has had a love for music since he was a youngster growing up in Opelika, Alabama. While in his teens, Steve joined well known Gospel group called the Dynamic Twin Spirituals. It was an experience that enhanced his musical ambitions. Playing drums in a really good sounding rhythm section has always given him a tremendous rush.
Playing with Tight Rhythms is rapidly becoming more of a serious responsibility each week. With each passing week it becomes more apparent that Tight Rhythms is headed for more advanced experiences. One of Steve's greatest musical attributes is his ability to modify the stage atmosphere, and mood of the entire room with the stroke of his drums.
